“I just got freaking married!” She could barely contain herself as she beamed from ear to ear. Stephanie was definitely a very happy bride! The years of dating, the past year of planning was all for this day and she was thrilled! She just freaking married the love of her life!
Doug & Stephanies Lake of Isles Foxwoods wedding was the best way to kick off the 2015 wedding season. The late April date was uncharacteristically cold but we managed to capture some gorgeous outside formal shots before the frostbite set in!! Bethany with Lake of Isles was so accommodating and was a huge help with expediting (due to the frigid temps. I’m not kidding!! It was soooo cold!) the formals by chauffeuring us in a golf cart through the rolling hills of the course to the famous portrait bridge. Rob Ranney provided beautiful acoustic music during the ceremony and the cocktail hour. Conte Sound Productions kept the guests on the dance floor with Tim Conte crooning on the mic AND turning out great hits from his DJ sound table. Conte Sound Productions also kept the fun going with their photo booth.
“Who gets flash mobbed at her wedding?” Well, Stephanie and Doug does! That’s right, her bridesmaids coordinated a flashmob that the couple had no idea was going to happen after all of the reception formalities took place. The look on Stephanie’s face was priceless when she realized what was happening as more and more of her friends joined the bridesmaids on the dance floor. The look on Doug’s face watching his new bride enjoying the surprise was just as enjoyable! (Thanks to my awesome second shooter Nicole Lopez for capturing the brides reaction while I captured the dancing!)
Doug & Stephanie, you’re wedding was touching and beautiful and your reception was one fun time! I wish you both a lifetime of happiness.
